Cooking is an art, and not many can master it. However, one can take baby steps to make small initiatives and be the chef of their home. Food is a basic need, and one cannot survive without it. Some people only live to eat, and their entire life revolves around food, food and food. And the most significant concern they have is this – what will I have for breakfast brunch, lunch, supper and dinner.
Our very own Rasathi aka Ashwini Radha Krishna is a foodie, and she loves to gorge on delicious food preparations. Masala Dosa is one of her favourites and today, we will tell you how to make it at home a la master chef Sanjeev Kapoor.
Note the ingredients needed for making masala dosa:
Dosa batter ( available readymade in the market)
Chutney of your choice
Red Chilli Powder
Mashed potato curry
Salt to taste
Mix the batter well after adding salt as per requirement. Heat a tawa on the gas on medium flame. Then take a ladle full of batter and spread it on the tawa in a circular motion. Add little oil for cooking it. In a while, spread a chutney of your choice and then add chopped onion and tomato. In the end, add mashed potato curry and butter. Sprinkle some chaat masala and red chilli powder (optional). Once the bottom side of the dosa turns golden brown take it off the flame. Serve hot.
