Monday blues is a uniquely miserable feeling that rears up its ugly head at the end of every weekend. Worst of all, it always means that those problems that you set aside during the weekend, are back to plague you again, nagging you to face them and resolve them. But problem solving is less about abilities, and more about attitude really, suggests an Instagram post by Sriti Jha who plays Pragya in Iniya Iru Malargal. To weather storms, the actress turns to Murakami and his Kafka for inspiration.

“When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.”- haruki murakami (Kafka on the shore)
Sriti’s post implies that problems and crisis are the making of a person. Every time you face a problem and resolve it, it changes who you are, little by little. And in the end, that’s what makes you stronger. Interestingly, Sriti’s reel-life character in Iniya Iru Malargal is much the same. In the series, Pragya is seen facing one crisis after another, but never giving up.
