Oru Oorula Oru Rajakumari recently completed a year. In the span of these 365 days, Rasathi and her innocence has managed to woo us and make us fall for her. The show that airs on ZEE5 is something that creates a change in the general scene of dramas that air on TV. But even with this exception and the atypical heroine, the show has still managed to steal the limelight. The character of Rasathi is portrayed by Ashwini Radha Krishna.
Watch Rasathi juggling with her problems in the show Oru Oorula Oru Rajakumari.
Recently Ashwini Radha Krishna, on her Instagram page, shared a video of the opening song of the show, in which we see the struggle that Rasathi has to face in life. It also sets the tone of the show, which is about body shaming and its effects on the life of an individual.
Now, the crux that forms the main plot of the show looks causal and much-used one if one were to look at it, but the depth and versatility of the show can only be measured through the course of the series. Over the course of this one year, we have seen some significant changes happening in the series. The attitude of Mangai and Iniyan towards Rasathi has changed. And we have also observed the strength that Rasathi garners with each passing day. But what should also intrigue you apart from these diverse aspects is the fact that the series has consistently managed to address the socially relevant issues that we see in our day to day life and has always given a resolution to it.
Further, we have all started to respect Rasathi rather than just sympathise with her. This here is a change that should be noted down because we as the audience usually relate to a character only by sympathising or empathising.
Thus, completion of a year is a great thing for the entire team of this show but it also just a milestone and this show has many other such milestones to achieve. So, while we wish the entire team of Oru Oorula Oru Rajakumari on the completion of one year let us also wish them luck for their growth and success in the future. You too can congratulate the team in the comments below!
