Pyaar Prema Kaadhal is a love story, as the name suggests but if you ask me is it a typical love story where things fall into pieces in favour of the leading characters and everything ends as expected, then no that is not how this movie works. Agreed that the movie ends on a happy note but there is a struggle before that it gives you a lot to think about. In that sense, this movie paves a path of change for itself and it remains away from the stereotypes and common norms of a romantic love story. In this movie, we see Harish Kalyan in the role of Shree and Razia Wilson playing the part of Sindhuja, who sees stuff in a modern light.
Watch the romance and conflict in the life of Shree and Sindhuja.
What should be highlighted in Pyaar Prema Kaadhal is the fact that in all the romance and drama that happens in the context of Shree’s and Sindhuja’s relationship it sends out an important message that we all should understand. And that is the message of striking a balance. The movie which deals about the everyday issues of family life in a typical middle-class family of Shree also deals with the fact that Shree’s parents should be open to the fact that it is love that is more important rather than getting married and having a family life.
This here, forms the crux of the love story as it not only takes a deep dive into the idea of live-in-relationships but it also suggests a fact parents should get out of their comfort zones and understand the fact that their children have the capability to decide for their own and that the concept of marriage is not without flaws.
Apart from these issues, the movie also touches upon the topic of class differences. When Sindhuja and Shree decide to live together without being married and without the knowledge of Shree’s parents, the problem that creeps into their relationship is the class difference and the variations in their upbringing.
So, in all this movie is not your typical love story but it is a story that deals with the different aspects of love. And it is what makes this movie a must watch. Share your views with us in the section given below.
