In the previous episode, we saw Adithya telling Akhila that henceforth, Parvathy will no longer be a cook, and remain a Goodwill Ambassador only. Akhila sees her interviewing cooks to replace her and realises how well Parvathy understands the needs of the family members. She tells Pattamma that from then on, the kitchen will be her sole responsibility and adds that Parvathy has now moved beyond the kitchen in her life. Later, Vanaja sends her brother to the pooja room to take blessings from the people in the locket to help him get married soon, hoping that Akhila will see Adi and Parvathy’s photo in the locket. Vadivu is shocked to see the photos in the locket. However, he does not tell Akhila what he saw.
In tonight’s episode, Akhila suddenly suspects that Mithra might also belong to Nagapuri vamsam, the same as Nandini. She remembers when she suddenly spotted a tattoo of the Nagapuri vamsam below Nandini’s neck and decides to check the same spot on Mithra’s back too. She gifts Mithra with a necklace and offers to help her wear it. Overjoyed, Mithra allows her and Akhila is shocked to see a tattoo in the same spot on Mithra’s back. But is it a Nagapuri vamsam tattoo or something else? Will this prove to be Mithra’s ouster from Akhila’s heart? To find out, watch Sembaruthi tonight on ZEE5.
Here’s a short recap for the uninitiated. Adithya, the scion of a rich family and his household cook, Parvathy, are secretly married to each other. The biggest obstacle to their happiness is Adithya’s mom, the strict and demanding Akhilandeshwari, who has different notions of what her daughter-in-law should be like. She has no idea about her son’s marriage and Adithya and Parvathy are waiting for the right moment to tell her.
