It is Wednesday today and as always, it is time for some wisdom. Celebrities have a huge fan following but stardom comes at a cost. Along with name and fame, comes countless criticism. And if the criticism is constructive, then it helps the actor evolve but if it is driven out of hatred, then it becomes an act of bullying. Social media has helped actors put their views across and this is exactly what Parvathy of Sembaruthi aka Shabana Shajahan has done. She has given a fitting reply to trolls and her haters by sharing her opinion about their remarks.
Shabana took to Instagram to write: “I don’t go by or change my attitude based on what people say.! At the end of the day, they will still judge me from their perspective. I would rather be myself and let people accept me for what I am than be somebody who I am not, just because I want people’s approval.! respect to those who loves me”(sic).”

I don't go by or change my attitude based on what people say.! At the end of the day, they will still judge me from their perspective. Shabana raises a pertinent point by sharing the post. She believes that a person must be himself/ herself rather than being someone that he/she isn’t. She feels no one should ever ape someone else just to be in others’ good books or seek their approval. She feels that no matter what a person does, he/she will always be subject to criticism. It is not possible to keep everyone happy. Hence, one must always be true to himself/herself and not be fake.
For the unversed, Shabana is one of the most popular TV actresses. She essays the role of Parvathy in super-hit TV show Sembaruthi that has actors such as Priya Raman, Karthik Raj, VJ Kathir and Laxmi on board. Follow Sembaruthi and for more entertainment, check out Nachiyarpuram, a show featuring real-life couple Dinesh and Rachitha.
