A still from Yaaradi Nee Mohini

The Sun may rise in the West but Swetha won’t mend her ways. The girl with an inflated ego, who is hell-bent on ruining Vennila’s life, will continue to create problems for all those who support her. In today’s episode of Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Swetha’s friends will purposely turn ofF the lights when Janani and Goutham perform a pre-wedding Puja. Vennila, who chants the mantras, conducts the puja with Karthi’s help, but will she able to conclude it successfully?

Swetha’s friends are evil-thinkers like her. They dance to her tunes and have no sense of the right and the wrong. Janani and Goutham’s marriage is likely to take place before the scheduled date, but Swetha doesn’t want them to get married before her wedding ceremony with Mutharasan. Moreover, she doesn’t like anyone who supports Vennila. Hence, she loves to create hurdles on their path.

For those who joined in late, here’s a quick summary of the last few episodes. The villagers wanted Mutharasan to marry Vennila after she successfully performed the Kanni Puja. But he refuses it outright. He states that he will honour the promise made to his step-mother by marrying Swetha. Thus, he irks the villagers and hurts their sentiments. But Annamalai threatens Mutharasan by saying that he would commit suicide if he refuses to get engaged to Vennila. Thus, he makes Mutharasan follow his instructions and attend the engagement ceremony organised by the villagers.

Swetha, who witnesses the engagement ceremony, fumes with rage after seeing Vennila happy. She attempts to push her off the terrace but in turn gets punished by her Karma. Vennila saves Swetha by pulling her off the edge of the wall. But Swetha isn’t grateful at all. She continues to harm Vennila.
